About us
Scourfield Veterinary Services Ltd was established in 2016, and quickly became a popular choice for pet owners across London.
As a fully mobile practice, we are able to look after the medical needs of your pet, whether for a routine vaccination, or investigation into an illness. We see a wide range of issues and can provide a range of services at home including blood tests, checking lumps, procedures under sedation, faecal/urine testing, and much more. All of these services are carried out in the pet’s home environment, where they are most relaxed and comfortable.
Seeing pets at home makes such a difference – they are much more relaxed and it reduces the stress associated with veterinary care. Seeing a pet in their own environment can really aid with gaining a diagnosis, too. In addition to the benefits for the animal, we also hope to make things easier and more convenient for pet owners. A home visit service eliminates the need to travel with your pet, with no need to worry about waiting times in a busy reception.
We are a registered practice with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), and carry a full pharmacy of medication. If your pet requires treatment, it will be left with you at the time of the appointment for added convenience.
MEET THE VETS
Dr Kathryn Scourfield BVSc MRCVS OV
“I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012. Having worked in general practice for many years, it soon became apparent that there were many pets who hated coming to the vets. Owner after owner would struggle in with animals that were fearful or stressed, which is upsetting for the patient, owner (and vet!) Realising that it didn’t need to be like this, Scourfield Veterinary Services was born; a home visit service, where the vet goes to the pet, rather than the other way around. I hope it’s a service you and your pet will find useful, and look forward to meeting you soon!”
Dr Mary Cordingley BVetMed MRCVS
“I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020. I have been working in small animal vet clinics since then in various locations, including Southampton, Surrey, London and Australia! I have a keen interest in internal medicine and neurology in both dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your pets in the comfort of your own home!”
